Coaching Agreement
1. Purpose and Nature of Coaching
Coaching is a collaborative process designed to support the Client in achieving clarity, growth, and emotional balance. It focuses on awareness, mindset, and action — not on therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.
The purpose of this relationship is to help the Client gain insight, remove emotional blocks, and take aligned action toward their personal or professional goals.
2. Coach–Client Relationship
-
The Coach agrees to uphold the standards and ethics of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
-
The Client is fully responsible for their own decisions, choices, and results.
-
Coaching is not therapy or a substitute for psychological or medical treatment.
-
The Client agrees to come prepared, be open, and participate actively in the process.
-
Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time with written notice.
3. Coaching Packages and Fees
Please select one:
☐ 4-Session Package – $600
☐ 6-Session Package – $840
☐ 10-Session Package – $1,300
Payment is due in full before the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Packages must be used within:
-
2 months for the 4-session package
-
3 months for the 6-session package
-
6 months for the 10-session package
Unused sessions after the expiration date are forfeited.
All payments are non-refundable.
4. Non-Payment
-
All sessions must be paid in full according to the package selected or as agreed in writing prior to the first session.
-
If payment is not received, the Coach reserves the right to pause or cancel any remaining sessions until payment is made.
-
Any unpaid balance for completed sessions will remain due and may be pursued through collection if necessary.
-
Clients who have an outstanding balance will not be eligible to schedule additional sessions until the account is settled.
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
-
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement.
-
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
-
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full.
-
The Coach will make a reasonable effort to reschedule if notice is provided in time.
6. Confidentiality
All information shared during coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential, except in the following cases:
-
The Client provides prior written consent to share information, for example, for a recorded session or testimonial.
-
The Coach is required by law to disclose information.
-
There is a risk of harm to the Client or others.
The Coach may use anonymous examples or themes from sessions for educational or professional purposes but will never reveal the Client’s identity without consent.
7. Conduct and Reputation
Both the Coach and the Client agree to engage respectfully and professionally throughout the coaching relationship.
The Client agrees not to make false, misleading, or defamatory statements, including on social media, about the Coach or Bold Stride Coaching.
8. Termination Policy
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by providing written notice.
If the Client chooses to terminate the coaching package before completion:
-
The sessions that have already occurred will be recalculated at the single-session rate (or the higher rate corresponding to a smaller package).
-
Any price difference between the package rate and the recalculated rate must be paid by the Client before termination is finalized.
-
All completed sessions are non-refundable, and any remaining prepaid amount after recalculation will not be refunded.
If the Coach terminates the Agreement, any unused, prepaid sessions will be refunded in full.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Client understands that coaching results vary and that success depends on the Client’s personal effort and engagement. The Coach makes no guarantees of specific outcomes and is not liable for any decisions or actions the Client takes based on coaching discussions.
The Coach’s total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for services rendered.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
11. Entire Agreement
This document reflects the full and complete understanding between the Coach and Client and may only be modified in writing, signed by both parties.
